Don Carlos of Greenfield and Des Moines, attended Stephens College, Columbia, and Drake University, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and Phi Beta Kappa. She received her master's degree in psychology from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, and is a counselor at Bakersfield (Calif.) College.

Mr. Swanson, nephew of the late Fred Swanson of Des Moines, received his master's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a physicist at the Navy Electronics Laboratory in San Diego, Calif. McCannel, also of Minneapolis, is announced. A July 14 wedding is planned. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mrs. Marie Romens of Littleton, formerly of Des Moines, and the late Joseph T. Romens.

Mr. McCannel's parents are Mrs. R. C. Tallaksen of Minneapolis and Dr.

Donald A. McCannel of Encino, Calif. Miss Romens is a stewardess for Northwest Orient Airlines. Her fiance is employed by Eastern Airlines and is attending the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. FEVOLD-NELSON Mr.

and Mrs. Ervin K. Fevold of Badger announce Miss Pasco PASCO-PARKER Mr. and Mrs. George W.
