Sunday 7:30 P. 31. "Living By Faith" Rev. John V. Yisser, Missionary-I'astor YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED Douglas MacArthur, king of the herd at Plain-Crist farm, 5800 Park wears his new blinders.

Sours, chief of the aeri- When Mr. and Mrs. Owen Crist, owners of the Plain-Crist farm, 3300 Park saw their registered bull, Douglas MacArthur, frequently pawing the ground and lowing, they became concerned. "Mac" never had Injured anyone, the Crists didn't want to risk the possibility that he might, so they bought him a pair of blinders. The blinders, made of light tin and leather straps, cover Mac's eyes.

He can see the ground if he holds his head high, but if he lowers his head, as bulls do when they begin a charge, he can't see beyond his hoofs. Now Mac munches his grass with the rest of the herd and once in a while paws and bel-lows his wrath away. rTeachers Group Planning Agency A plan for establishing its own teachers' employment agency was adopted unanimously at a meet-ing Saturday of the Iowa State Teachers association executive board, Charles F. Martin of Ma quoketa, president of the associa tion, announced. Immediate steps would be taken, Martin said, to provide adequate office facilities and increased personnel to handle the hervice.

It would be available to all full contributing members of the association upon payment of a small registration fee, he added. No commission would ho charged. Martin nuld the service would save members of the association many thousands of dollars each year, besides providing a high type of placement service. In the field of pernonal service to its members, the as-1 sociation was entering a new field of endeavor. A sampling of teacher had revealed virtually a unanimous desire for the association to provide the feervice.

An effort then was made by the association to continue, through a subsidy plan, the place- 'ILLUSTRATED SERMH cuiture department's dairy and food division. Others retiring were Clarence Moore, Albia; Sam T. Rogers, Walnut; Roy J. 'Smith, Spirit Lake; H. O.
