30, 2016, at Allen Memorial Hospital. Lowell was born Nov. 1, 1919, in Hopeville, Iowa, the son of David and Ella (Woods) Fox. He married Carol Esther Peterson on Sept. 26, 1951, in Atlantic, Iowa.

Lowell graduated from Murray High School in 1939 and served in the United States Army during World War II. He was a longtime farmer in the Murray area and was employed for the railroad until retiring in 1981. Lowell loved playing pool and pitching horseshoes. Survivors include his wife, Carol of Waterloo; two sons, David (Janie) of Waterloo and John (Jeanie) of Humeston; two grandchildren, Michael Fox of Grimes and Nicole Masters of Mis- souri; two great-grandsons, Lane and Levi Masters; a sister-in- law, Betty Crawford of Osceola and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; a son, Donald Fay Fox; a sister, Flora Marie Winchester.

Public visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at Hagarty-Waychoff-Gra- rup Funeral Service on South Street in Waterloo. A visitation was also from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov.

4, 2016, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola. Visitation was also one hour prior to services on Saturday. Services were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola, Iowa, with burial in Murray Cemetery in Murray, Iowa.

Lowell Ronald Fox, 96, Waterloo, formerly of Indianola Lowell Fox Services for P. Ray Grimes, 84, of Indianola, IA who passed peacefully Nov. 2, 2016, at The Village in Indianola, were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov.

5, at the First United Methodist Church in Indianola. Graveside services and interment were held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 6, in the Stearns Cemetery in Fithian, IL. Ray was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Covington, IN, a son of Harold Grimes and Margaret Mae Dalbey.

He married Naomi Ruth Long on Aug. 31, 1952, in Fithian, IL. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Naomi; two daughters and sons- in-law, Teri (Jim) Riggins of Lincoln, NE, Linda (Rod) Selvage of Indianola; one brother, Larry Grimes of Cleveland, TN; one sister, Sandra Millikin of IL; five grandchildren, Brenda Riggings, Amy Selvage- Heimbaugh, Jeremy Selvage, Dustin Selvage, Brooke Selvage; nine great-grandchildren, Joshua Riggins, Victoria Bayer, Marc Johnson, Sampson Bayer, Ashley Selvage, Dakota Heimbaugh, Daxton Heimbaugh, Mya Selvage, Colby Selvage; and one great-great-grandchild, Jemma Riggins. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter Jamie Riggins-Bayer. Mr.

Grimes was a 3rd class petty officer on a United States Navy aircraft carrier during the Korean Conflict; private pilot for Sheaffer Pen, American Republic Insurance Co. and Interstate Power; member of Masonic Lodge 32nd Degree; Quiet Birdmen; NBAA Board of Directors; A.O.P.A.; and awarded the Million Mile Diamond Safety Award. Amongst notarized passengers were: Hubert S. Humphrey, Gen. Jimmie Doolittle, Jack Benny, Cliff Robertson, Alexander Caulder, governors, athletes and many more.

Lifelong sprint car enthusiast as a driver, mechanic, owner and of racing at Knoxville Raceway. Inductee to the Knoxville Hall of Fame and awarded the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame Heritage Award. In addition, Ray worked with many race tracks across the country to assist in Friends and Influencing Dancing was a favorite past time. Visitation was held from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with family present.

Weeks, 82, who passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Overton Funeral Home in Indianola with burial following in the Indianola IOOF Cemetery. He grew up on a farm south of Indianola and graduated from Indianola High School.

Lyle married Katherene Mae Brocker, his high school sweetheart, on April 3, 1954. Lyle was member of the NFO. He started a dairy with his son Ron in the 1960s and retired from the dairy business when he sold the dairy in 1987. He retired from farming and moved to Indianola in 2001. Lyle was a life long fan of the Cubs and Iowa Hawkeyes.

He attended every basketball, baseball and fast-pitch softball game or track meet his kids or grandkids were in. His hobbies were fishing, traveling and spending time at Prairie Meadows. Survivors include his wife Katherene; children Ron Weeks, Randy Weeks and Rhonda Weeks; daughter- in-law Cindy Weeks; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald Weeks; sisters, Gladys Trotter and Lorraine Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, David Weeks, sister, Flossie Kaldenberg and twin infant brother and sister. Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Overton Funeral Home with family present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society. Online condolences may be made at www.overtonfuneral- s.com. Lyle E.

Weeks, 82, Indianola Lyle Weeks Jeff Jones, 56, of Norwalk, died peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016. Avisitation with family present was held from 1to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 30, at the Norwalk Christian Church in Norwalk. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m.

Monday, Oct. 31, at the Norwalk Christian Church with burial to follow in the Norwalk Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation and online condolences may be left at ochiltree.com. Jeffrey Klay Jones, son of Keith and Joanne (Hulse) Jones, was born July 11, 1960, in Des Moines. He attended schools in the Winterset area and graduated from Winterset High in 1978.

Jeff was united in marriage with Ginger Lane on Nov. 19, 1988, at the Methodist Church in Norwalk and three children were born to this union. He and Ginger made their home on a family farm a few miles south of Norwalk, where Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family raising horses, cows and goats. Jeff was a self-employed window and door contractor for most of his adult life, owning and operating Maple Lane Construction. He was a proud owner of J-Star Family Angus and co-owner of Diamond Genetics with his daughter, Kari.

For the past few years, he was employed at Wholesale Building Materials in Norwalk. Jeff was a supportive father who was involved in all of his activities; whether it was sports, showing livestock, competing in soapbox derby or supporting academic endeavors, Jeff was there for them. He coached softball, baseball and helped his children and other kids show animals and participate in 4-H. Jeff enjoyed attending the Warren County Fair and the Iowa State Fair. He was elated to have recently become a grandfather, and took such pride in the newest member of the family.

All this said, Jeff was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who cherished the time he was able to spend with his family and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ginger Jones; three children, Amanda (Clayton) Garrison, Kyle Jones and Kari Jones; two granddaughters, Allison and Blair Garrison, all of Norwalk; brothers, John Jones (Tamie Fisher) of Norwalk and Jay Jones of San Antonio, Texas; nephew, Weston Jones of Iowa Falls; extended family and a host of friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Joanne Jones; and his mother-in-law, Opal Lane. Jeff Jones, 56, Norwalk Jeff Jones Rita Belle Wood, age 91, of the Golden Beach community in Missouri, passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2016, at the Good Shepherd Care Center in Versailles, Mo.

She was born June 22, 1925, in Indianola, Iowa, a daughter of Percival Arthur and Hazel Marie Bishop Wade. Rita was united in marriage to Raymond O. Wood who preceded her in death Aug. 19, 1991. Rita grew up in Indianola, Iowa, graduating from the local high school and attended Simpson College for two years.

She retired from Farmland Industries in Des Moines, Iowa, where she worked as a commercial artist for many years. After retiring, Raymond and Rita moved to the Lake of the Ozarks area in Missouri to be near their youngest daughter and her family. Rita stayed busy volunteering as a paraprofessional with the School of Osage, working at the school until well into her 80s. She was a faithful and active member of the Lake Ozark Christian Church for many years, serving as an elder, elder emeritus, volunteering as an office assistant and as church historian. At the time of her death she was a member of the Golden Beach Community Church.

She was a lifelong member of the VFW aux- iliary, active in posts in Iowa and Missouri. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Fuller of Bagley, Iowa, and Beverly Thomas and husband Dr. Benny Thomas of Four Seasons, one brother, Wesley Wade of Golden Beach, four grandchildren, Tami, Michele (Dave), Jim and Amanda (Jordan); 10 great-grandchildren, Charlie, Dalton, Dakota, Samantha, Jackie, Tevan, Bailey, Logan, Caleb and Izzy, with another great-grandson due in March, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Rita was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Margaret Ellen Heinzerling. In keeping with her wishes, Rita was cremated.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Nov. 11, 2016, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge, Warren Lodge 1606 Highway 92, Indianola, Iowa 50125. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery in Indianola, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Simpson College Scholarship Program.
