Highland St. Williamsburg, IA 319 668 1615 Funeral service for Jeff Kloster, 34, Overland Park, form erly of arengo, as held at 10:30 a.m. onday, Jan. 18, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Walford.

He died Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016. The Rev. Travis Borkosky officiated at the service. Burial was in the Marengo Cemetery.

Jeffrey John Kloster was born March 26, 1981, in Mason City, the son of John and Beth Klenske Kloster. He graduated from Iowa Valley High School, Marengo, in 1999.

He graduated from Central College, Pella, in 2003 with a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and from Iowa State University, Ames, in 2005, with a degree in mechanical engineering. He made his home in Overland Park, where he was employed with Black and Veach, an engineering consulting firm, working six years with the energy department and recently as marketing manager-major projects. During his college career, he played trumpet in jazz and symphonic and. He was a member the Central College olf Team and a member the Iowa State Rowing Team. He was passionate about engineering and proudly served as a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

He was also passionate about working with the local comm unity to help the next eneration of leaders. spent much time with the Kansas Rowing Club articipants and in prominent roles. He enjoyed an occasional game of golf or an outing with his friends. He shouted but tolerated and from other family members. Kloster is survived by his parents, John and Beth Kloster, Marengo; one brother, T.J.

(Amber Parizek), Marengo; one sister, Angela (Emmanuel) Garza, San Antonio, Texas; his grandparents, Jim and Ele Klenske, Waukon, and several uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Arthur and Thelma Kloster. Jeff Kloster, 34 Funeral service for Melissa (Criswell) Wickwire, 36, Grinnell, was eld 10:30 a Mond ay, Dec. 28, 2015, at the rinnell Christian Church. She died Monday, Dec.

21, 2015, at Mercy Medical Center West Lakes, West Des Moines. Pastor John Epperson officiated at the service. She was laid to rest next to her grandparents, Chuck and Twyla Mae cAtee, at Hazelwood emetery, Grinnell. Pall- earers were Charlie Criswell, Cindy Strobel, yler Graham, Tim McAtee, Seth McAtee and Nick Long. Honorary bearers were Sam and Olivia Strobel, Caleb, Ryan and Eli Criswell, Ashley and Landon Criswell, Kevin Long, and her sons, Jake and Jared Wickwire.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Melissa C. Wickwire Memorial Fund, to benefit her two college education funds. Smith Funeral Home, Grinnell, was in charge of arrangements. Melissa Cress (Criswell) Wickwire was born May 20, 1979, in Grinnell, the daughter of Larry Eu- gene Criswell and Patricia Sue (McAtee) Criswell.

She was raised in Grinnell and graduated from Grinnell High School in 1997. She attended Kirkwood Community ollege, Cedar Rapids. March 27, 2004, she arried Alan Jeffrey ickwire at the Christian Church, Grinnell. They were blessed with two sons, Jake and Jared. She was a dialysis technician for the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Her family meant everything to her. She was a strong supporter of her school and sports act ivities. She would do any a ctivity, even if she particularly like it, as long a it meant she would be with her husband and two boys. She will be remembered for her kind, gentle, fun-loving spirit and for the love of her family. Wickwire is survived by her husband of 11 years, Alan J.

Wickwire, Grinnell; her boys, Jake and Jared; her parents, Larry and Pat Criswell, Grinnell; sister, Cindy Strobel, Grinnell; brother, Charlie (Katie) Criswell, Grinnell, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, William and Lela Criswell, and maternal grandparents, Chuck and Twylamae McAtee. Melissa Wickwire, 36 Celebration of life service for Robert Baerg, 66, Williams- urg, was eld at 1 0:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 15, a the Victor Baptist Church.

He died Monday, Jan. 11, 2016, at his home near Williamsburg. Pastor Dan Andrews officiated at the service. Private family inurn- ment was in the Delft Cemetery, Delft, on Saturday, Jan. 16.

Memories and condolences may be left at www.smithfh.com. Robert Lee Baerg was born Oct. 22, 1949, in Mountain Lake, the son of Abram and Susan (Harder) Baerg.

He was raised on the family farm near Delft and graduated from Windom High School in 1967. He attended Grace College of the Bible, now Grace University, in Omaha, Neb. He married Coreen Risdon Feb. 5, 1972, at the Victor Baptist Church. They were blessed with five children, Tom, Cam, Andy, Danielle and Josh.

The couple lived in rural Delft for a short time following their marriage. In 1975, they moved to Iowa where they raised their family and farmed west of Williamsburg. In 1980, hey family moved to lendale, and ret urned to rural Williams- urg in 1981. He was a member of the Victor Baptist Church. He had a passion for farming and raising dairy cattle and was proud of his John Deere tractors.

He had a strong love for his family and was famous for his unexpected visits. His enjoy- ents were telling sto- ies, spending time with is grandchildren, at- ending Farm Progress Shows and the Reunion and traveling to see his family in Minnesota. Baerg is survived by his children, Cam (Bryce) Post, Chicago, Andy (Laura) Baerg, Farmington, Danielle Baerg, Los Angeles, Tom (Jill) Baerg, Williamsburg, and Josh (Caitlin) Baerg, Charleston, S.C.; 12 grandchildren, Hayden, Lucy, Brady, Parker, Gerrit, Gavin, Jason, Nigel, Halibel, Aizen, Clarence and Milton, and two brothers, Bill Baerg and Allen (Tina) Baerg, both of Delft. He was preceded in death by his parents. Robert Baerg, 66 1972.

He worked in civil engineering as a consultant, for private building ompanies, in research and development and in he public sector building roads and bridges. Bridges were his passion. He married Carla Rae Grim Aug. 12, 1967, in Wapel- o. He graduated from apello Community High School in 1966 and received his degree in civil engineering from I owa State University in ands was a top priority him. Even after being diagnosed with cancer, he till insisted on visiting the campus in Iowa City to help the Gideons deliver Bibles. He was not a reacher, but he spoke on the Gideon's mission at any different churches.

He also volunteered his time to teach advanced math classes on his lunch ours to students at Mt. leasant Christian chool. He was always there to help without being asked, whether fixing a porch, cleaning a flooded base- ent, blowing insulation i an attic, or roofing a ouse, he helped where he could. Every game Bill played was for hampionship of the whether it was the inal football game against Columbus Junc- ion his senior year, or a game of Uno with his grandkids, never conceding defeat without issu- i ng another challenge. He taught his family to never ive up.

He loved helping his kids and grandkids with their math problems and even made up his own ath and logic problems solve for fun. He had a reat sense of humor, loved playing with his grandkids and feeding them candy much to their dismay. He aught his family to be ifetime Chicago Bears ans. He loved babies and volunteered in the church nursery. He felt as if they ere all his.

Most of all, ill loved the Lord and as committed to Him, raising his children to ove Him too. Belzer is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carla, Williamsburg; daugh- er, Terisa (Travis) Lingafelter, Newton, son, athan (Rebecca) Belzer, Wapello; son, Trevor (Karla) Belzer, Dixon, six grandchildren, Whit- ey, Wyatt, Tabitha, Elij ah, Owen and Evan; his ather, C.L. Belzer, New Boston, brother, Terry (Sylvia) Belzer, Wapello; several aunts and uncles as well as nu- erous nieces and neph- ws. preceded in death by his grandparents; his mother, Betty Davis; step-mother, Charlotte elzer, and his infant son. William Belzer, 67.
