Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Southtown Funeral Home, with burial at Elm Grove Cemetery. Mr. Schultz was born in Woodward and had lived in the Des Moines area most of his life.

There are no immediate survivors. Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mae Burdess, 91, of the 3900 block of Third I RtrpRt rijori nf 3 heart ailment Monday at home. The body was cremated, and graveside services will be at 3 p.m.

today at Maple Cemetery in Osceola. Mrs. Burdess was born in Lucas and had lived in the Osceola area most her life before moving to Des Moines in 1993. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of others.

She is survived by two sons, Eugene of Dallas, Texas, and Reuben of Des Moines; a daughter, Barbara Huggins of Osceola; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, William. Dunn's Funeral Home is handling arrangements. KENNETH HANSEN Ames Kenneth Wayne Hansen, 55, of Ames died of a heart ailment Tuesday at Mary Greeley Medical Center there. Services will be at 2 p.m.

Friday at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Ames. Burial is pending. Mr. Hansen was born in Chester, S.D., and had lived in Ames many years.

He was the owner and operator of K.W. Hansen Trucking in Ames and an Army veteran. He also had served in the National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Janice; a son, Mark of Ames; a daughter, Misty Pritchard of Huxley; three sisters, Shirley Hansen of Durango, Elaine Schultz of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Dorothy Vostad of Volga, S.D.; two brothers, Butch of Ames and Lynn of Hetland, S.D.; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Gardner was born in Weldon and had lived in Osceola and Winterset before moving to Iowa City a week ago. She was a retired clerk with Winterset City Hall and a member of First Christian Church in Osceola. She is survived by her husband, Raymond; two sons, Mike of Coralville and Gary of West Branch; a brother, Doyce DeVore of Osceola; and two grandchildren. Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions can be made to Iowa City Hospice. HELEN MOYNAHAN Des Moines Helen Ryan Moynahan, 85, of Plymouth Place died of a heart ailment there Monday. The body was cremated, and services are pending. Burial of the cremains will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Haydenville, Mass.

Mrs. Moynahan was born in Springfield, and had lived in North Hampton, before moving to Des Moines in 1984. She was a retired director with East Hampton Home for Women and a member of St. Augustin's Catholic Church. She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Luce of Haydenville, Maureen McWilliams of Cumming and Patricia Moynahan of Biddeford, Maine; two sons, Joseph of South Hampton, and Thomas of Goshen, a half brother, Donald O'Neil of Chicopee Falls, six grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick. Memorial contributions may be made to Plymouth Place. Dunn's Funeral Home is handling arrangements. MARY LOUISE SCHWECHEL New Sharon Mary Louise Schwechel, 61 of New Sharon died of a heart ailment Monday at Mahaska County Hospital in Oska-loosa. Services will be at 1:30 p.m.

Friday at New Sharon Friends Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa. Mrs. Schwechel was born in Oskaloosa and had lived in Richland and Glidden before moving to New Sharoru in 1964. She was a retired kindergarten teacher in New Sharon and a former pastor.

She most recently had worked with Mobile Missionary Assistance Program and had worked on a 14-mission project throughout the United States and Canada. She also was involved with Camp Quaker Heights. She enjoyed music, table games, reading and crocheting. She is survived by her husband, Dale; two sons, David of Boone and John of Norwalk; and five grandchildren. Friends may call from 10 a.m.

to 4 p.m. today at Harden Funeral Home in New Sharon, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Camp Quaker Heights. JAMES WEIGEL Ames James Edward Weigel, 63, of Ames died Sunday at Mary Greeley Medical Center there of complications following surgery. The body was cremated, and memorial services will be at 4 p.m.

Saturday at Collegiate Presbyterian Church in Ames. Burial of the cremains will be at a later date. Mr. Weigel was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and had lived in Chagrin Falls, Ohio, Marshalltown, Cedar Rapids and Englewood, before moving to Ames in 1994. He was a free-lance writer whose poetry book, "Celebrations," was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 1984.

He is survived by two sisters, Liza Cartwright of Ames and Alice Haybron of Chagrin Falls; and a brother, Richard of Downers Grove, III. Cremation Society of Iowa is handling arrangements. today at Palestine Lutheran Church in Huxley, with burial at the church cemetery. Mr. Mason was born in Alleman and had lived in Des Moines and Roland before moving to Madrid in 1995. He was a retired switchman with Des Moines Union Railroad. He is survived by two daughters, Donna Mason and Sally Cornwell, both of Des Moines; a son, Sherman of Fort Myers, three stepdaughters, Anita Ritland of Story City, Shirley Ploegstra of Ankeny and Sharon Thimmesch of Cedar Rapids; a stepson, David Sande of Urbandale; a brother, Robert of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; nine step-grandchildren; and three step-greatgrandchildren.

Moses, 90, of Bagley died of a respiratory ailment Monday at Greene County Medical Center in Jefferson. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at United Methodist Church in Bagley, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Richland Township Cemetery in Guthrie County. Mrs.

Moses was born in Churdan and had lived in the Herndon and Bagley areas most of her life. She was a retired farmer and was a member of Rebekah Lodge. She is survived by two sons, Ray-field of Yale and Robert of Jefferson; a daughter, Dorothy Kelnter of Nevada; a sister, Juanita Hollar of Paton; a brother, Fred Brody of Seattle; several grandchildren; several greatgrandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. ORVILLE DEARDORFF Panora Orville G. Deardorff, 80, of Panora died of a heart attack Tuesday at Guthrie County Hospital in Guthrie Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Yale Methodist Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Yale Cemetery in Yale.

Mr. Deardorff was born in Bagley and had lived in Yale most of his life before moving to Panora in 1986. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Masons and Elks Lodge. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie; a daughter, Laura Summy of Yale; two sons, David of Yale and Richard of Cairo, a sister Velma Marchant of Atlantic; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Shrader was born in Troy, Ohio, and had lived in Perry before moving to Des Moines 50 years ago. He was a retired postal clerk and a member of the Des Moines Postal Union and the Masons. He was a Marine veteran of World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart. He is survived by his wife, Muriel; two daughters, Darlene Brown of Portland, and Sheryl Harvey of Van Meter; three sons, Edward Simmons of West Des Moines, James Shrader of Austin, Texas, and Douglas Simmons of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

MAXINE GREENHALGH Omaha Maxine McClure Greenhalgh, 76, of Omaha died of cancer Tuesday at Integrated Health Services in Gretna, Neb. Mrs. Greenhalgh was born in Cedar Rapids, and had lived in Leon most of her life before moving to Osceola in 1 990. She moved to Omaha in 1997. She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of United Methodist Church. She is survived by a son, Karlos McClure of Exira; a daughter, Sherry Lincoln of Omaha; a stepdaughter, Mary Margaret Hill of St.

Louis; eight grandchildren and 1 0 great-grandchildren. Friday at Community United Methodist Church in Ogden, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Lawn Cemetery in Boxholm. Mrs. Lingren was born in Boxholm and had lived in Ogden all her life before moving to Boone. She was a member of United Methodist Women, American Legion Auxiliary, Ogden Garden Club and Ogden Women's Club.

She was known for her flowers, rye bread and chocolate chip cookies. She made crib quilts for her grandchildren and enjoyed embroidering. She is survived by six sons, Paul of Ames, Earl of Pilot Mound, Dale and Laverne, both of Ogden, and Lee and Larry, both of Boone; a daughter, llene Van Pelt of Perry; a Norma Schlicht of Rippey; 26 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd. The family will greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m.

Friday at Grinnell Christian Church, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell. Mr. Doty was born near Brooklyn and had lived in the area most of his life before moving to Grinnell in 1985. He was a farmer and had served on the boards of Brooklyn School District, Malcom Co-op Farmer's Elevator, Poweshiek County Farm Bureau and Poweshiek-Jasper Farm Service.

He enjoyed his grandchildren's school activities and farming. He is survived by his wife, A. Louise Larsen; a daughter, Marlene Toney of Grinnell; two sons, Merle of Grinnell and Eugene of Mansfield, Texas; a brother, Forrest Jr. of Grinnell; a sister Lois VanErsvelde of Brooklyn; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She also was a secretary with the Des Moines Diocese and had served on the administrative staff for the pope's visit to Des Moines. She was a member of Bishop Drumm Guild and her church's Rosary Society She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Heger and Mary Kennedy, both of Des Moines; three sons, John of Geneva, Thomas of New Lisbon, and Joseph of Adel; two sisters, Maxine Beldt of Longmont, and Maureen Coash of Des Moines; 17 grandchildren; and 24 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom.
