Norris, 64, of Ames died of a combination of a congestive heart ailment and lung cancer Thursday at his home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member. Burial will be at Ames Municipal Cemetery. Mr.

Norris was born in Frankfort, and lived in Lafayette, before moving to Ames in 1964. He was program manager of WOI-AMFM in Ames and later joined KA-SI-AM to develop its FM sister-station, KCCQ. In 1970, he joined the news and information department of the Iowa Highway Commission (now the Department of Transportation), where he most recently was news and information director. He also served as emcee for various productions of the Ametones, Ames Municipal Band, Sweet Adelines, Miss Iowa Pageant, and Red Stocking Revue. He was involved with the Iowa Diabetes Association, the Iowa Heart Association, Ames Evening Lions, American Legion, VFW, Meeker Elementary PTA, Campfire Board of Directors, Salvations Army, Little League, Ames Minor Hockey and Iowa State Hockey.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara; three daughters, Susan Greulich, Ka-thy Norris, and Nancy Hoffman, all of Ames; a son Bill of Chicago; two sisters, Alice Anderson of Seattle and Carolyn Norris-Langer of Ber-wyn, and three grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday from p.m. at Adams Funeral Home in Ames. Malson, 70, of Newton died of a heart ailment Thursday at home. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Wallace-Pence Funeral Home, with burial at Newton Union Cemetery. Born in Gentry, Mr. Malson lived most of his life in Newton.

He had worked at Progress Industries and was retired from the Newton Foundry, and also had been a baker at Humkes and Stocktons. He attended Newton Baptist Temple, was a member of UAW Retirees Union No. 997, was a member of the Newton Izaac Walton League, and the Jasper County Men's Bowling Association. He is survived by his wife, Edythe; four daughters, Pat Coady, Cindy Retman, Donna Meador and Sandy "Tootie" McGee, all of Newton; two brothers, Carl and Sam Romans, both of Newton; and 10 grandchildren. Visitation is after 9 a.m.

Sunday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 2-3 p.m. Viola B. Goettsch, 77, of Ames died of cancer Thursday at home. The body has been cremated and private services are planned. Mrs.

Goettsch was born in Kanawha and was a resident of Ames since 1944. She was an accountant for several area companies, the last of which was the Iowa Department of Transportation. She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church. Surviving are her husband, Thomas; a son, Richard of Daytona Beach, a daughter, Gloria Rademacher of Ames; and four grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Ames.

Reynolds lived all of her life in Des Moines, where she was a volunteer at the Polk County Association for Retarded Citizens. Surviving are two sons, Albert of Des Moines and Frank of Marion; two daughters, Jeanne Haddad and JoAnne Corigliano, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Carmela Turner of Mira Loma, and Helen Ward of Norca, 22 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends after the service Tuesday. Contributions may be made to the Retirement Fund for the Religious through Christ The King.

Thelma V. Wyckoff, 87, of 3700 S.W. Fourth St. died of a heart ailment Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 2 p.m.

Monday at Southtown Funeral Home, with burial at Elm Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Wyckoff lived most of her life in Des Moines asahomemaker. She is survived by a daughter, Molly Bierma of Des Moines; a brother, Carl Youngquist of Des Moines; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m.

Sunday at the funeral home. John Dennis Longwell, 56, of Ames died Wednesday at home. The cause of death was unknown. A service is 3 p.m. Monday at Adams Funeral Home in Ames.

Burial of the cremains will be at Omaha Valley Cemetery in Homer, Neb. Mr. Longwell was born in Homer, and lived in Iowa Falls and Sioux City before spending the past 26 years in Ames. He had been a supervisor for US West and was an officer in the Navy. He was a member of the Elks Lodge No.

1626, the Moose Lodge No. 540 and the American Legion Post No. 37. Survivors include a daughter, Jodi Tolliver; a son, John of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Rod of Bremerton, a sister, Jeanine Harris of Homer, and two grandchildren. Here is information about the death of a former central Iowa resident who moved from the area more than 20 years ago: Regina Irine Marshall, 73, of Ontario, died of a heart ailment Sunday at home.

No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Cremation Society of Idaho in Boise. Mrs. Marshall was born in Salsbury, and moved to Des Moines for a time with her family before living in Reno, and eventually Ontario. CARVER Letha Gaye.

service Monday at Peterson Funeral Home, with burial at I.O.O.F. Memorial Gardens. Mr. Harris was born in New Vir ginia and lived most of his life in Indianola. He was a conservation officer for 27 years in Marion and Warren counties.

He was an Army veteran of World War II and belonged to the VFW and the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Mable; a son, Max of Urbandale; a daughter, Linda Harris of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Esther Gittins and Ruth Patrick, both of Indianola; and four-grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. until service time Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to Indianola Good Samaritan Center.

Charley Cunningham, 92, of Grinnell died of pneumonia Friday at Mayflower Home there. Services will be at 1 :30 p.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell, with burial at Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg. Mr. Cunningham was born in Macon County, Miss.

He moved to Kellogg in 1932 and recently to Grinnell. He had been a maintenance supervisor at Midwest Manufacturing Co. in Kellogg. He belonged to Kellogg United Methodist Church and the Kellogg Historical Society. He is survived by his wife, Esther; two daughters, Myrtle Henning of Hartwick and Charlotte Barge of San Diego; three sisters, Marjorie Men-denhall and Jessie Stanfield, both of Marceline, and Lucille Tabor of Newton; 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from noon-9 p.m. Sunday, where the family will be present from 2-4 p.m. Contributions may be made to his church or the Kellogg Historical Society. Robert W. Miller, 70, of Ames died of cancer Wednesday at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Bethesda Lutheran Church. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m at the Albert City Cemetery in Albert City. Mr. Miller was born in Mason City.

He taught high school and coached football, basketball, track and swimming at Alden and Glidden from 1953-1966. He entered the life insurance business in 1966 and moved to Ames in 1968. He retired as regional manager for Iowa for Northwestern National Life in 1992. He also served in the Army from 1945-47. He played collegiate football, receiving All-America awards.

He is survived by a daughter, Catherine Ann of Ames; two sons, John Robert of Ames and Stephen William of San Francisco. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Stevens Memorial Chapel Ames, with the family present. Mildred Frasher, 86, of 4901 Grand Ave. died Thursday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center from complications following a heart attack.

A private memorial service will be held later. Burial of the cremains will be at Gardens of Rest Memorial Park in Wells, Mich. Mrs. Frasher lived most of her life in Escanaba, where she was a homemaker and a member of the Women's Club and Central Methodist Church. She helped to initiate the F.I.S.H.

Program to help seniors. She also was a member of the Easter Seal Society of Pinellas Park, Fla. She had been a Des Moines resident the past four years. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Koerner of Pittsburgh and Patricia Bordt of Des Moines; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Oratorio Path iwm mm mil Thursday.

Services will be at 11a.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church in Spencer, with burial at Riverside Cemetery. Mrs. Carver originally was from Quimby and also lived in Spencer before moving to Johnston in 1985. She was a homemaker and member of Grace United Methodist.

She is survived by two sons, Garland of Urbandale and Kendall of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Friends may call one hour before service time at the church. Repp, 85, of Perry died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Perry Lutheran Home. Services will be at 1 1 a.m. Monday at First Christian Church, of which he was a member, with burial at Violet Hill Cemetery. Mr. Repp lived all his life on a farm near Perry.

He is survived by his wife, Nolda; a son, Raymond of Perry; a daughter, Verna Boyer of Yale; a sister, Clara Harker of Phoenix; eight grandchildren; and three greatgrandchildren.
