They were orr their second ride Saturday when the accident occurred. Saturday morning, Larry helped his mother with the housework before going downtown with Gene Vaughn and Larry Prunty. Gene bought a shirt. They ate lunch together downtown. "Let's go to Riverview," one of the boys suggested.

"I haven't any money," said Larry Connor. "We'll lend you some," the others said. They each contributed a dime to young Connor. They all saved bus fare by hitchhiking. Two Ticket Each.

At Riverview, they each bought two tickets on the roller coaster. The fare was 7 cents a ride. The first ride was without inoident. Young Prunty sat in the front seat of the car. The other two were in the second seat behind him.

Young Connor, a blond and slightly built boy, moved up Into the front seat beside the Prunty youth for the second trip. Prunty expressed belief that the car may have "run over" young Connor.

"Larry fell right in front of the car." Prunty added. "He, went under tha car." Prunty aaid he looked back and the Connor boy was limply hanging over the "ties" on the roller roanter track. Then Prunty lost sight of him. The victim apparently dropped to the ground seconds later. He may have hit some supports on the way down.

There were drops of blood on the white roller coaster framework. Centrifugal Force. The car makes a right turn at that point on the coaster track. If centrifugal force was the cause of the accident, it would appear that the boy would have fallen out on the left side of the car, not the right side. B.
