There are beauty aids for young skins and beauty aids for older skins and wise is the beauty who selects the proper ones.

For the 40-plus group there are three aids which do a nice job of keeping the complexion fresh and translucent -a rich cleansing cream used with a skin tonic and a youthifying cream which does not contain hormones in case you are wary of hormone creams. This newer cream contains a miraculous marriage of two active ingredients that combine to produce youthful glow. The skin is softer and free of minor blemishes which come when the skin is too dry or neglected. Cleanse your face and neck with the rich cleanser. Remove it with tissue and pat the skin lotion (which is only mildly astringent) over the skin.

This removes residue of the cleanser and leaves the skin ready for the lubrication. Spread the cream rather generously (even about your eyes) and massage with finger tips for a couple of minutes. (If you can dip your fingers into a bowl of ice water you get a very pleasing sensation as you massage.) You may pat your skin gently and under your chin with the palms or backs of your hand but do not be too rough! Remove cream with tissue and proceed with your make-up if you are going out. But if you are going to bed remove only the excess cream and leave the rest on to work for you during the night. Be loyal to these three until the containers are empty and then judge for yourself as to their worth.

This is a good time of year to start a fresh beauty routine with fresh aids. And then get new make-up in a new and becoming shade! Home Club To Meet With Mrs. Bush Mrs. Robert Bush will be hostess to members of American Home club at 7:30 p. m.
