Moines Sunday Register Women's Section 1950 Page 4-W Whist Fans Convene At Clear Lake By Special Correspondent. CLEAR LAKE, thirty-first annual National Whist tournament now is in session at the Lakeshore hotel. The Misses Mary Hein, Mary Flynn, Janet Schmid, Mary Rhomberg, Ellen Murphy, Ann McFadden and Rozeanne Audelfinger, all of Dubuque, are at the Lakeshore for days. Dr. Henry Bender family, Dr.

Graham Boysen and family, and Dr. Kestel and family, all of Waterloo, are here at the hotel. Forrest Seymour, Pete and Susie, have returned to the Lakeshore from trip west. Here, they joined Mrs. Seymour and Connie.

The entire family will return to Des Moines this week end. Mrs. E. K. Eberhardt has returned to Des Moines after spending July and most of August at the Lakeshore.

Dr. and Mrs. C. C. McIntyre and family and Dr.

and Mrs. Edward Bohlf, both of Waterloo, are spending two weeks at "Frederic the north shore. Mr. and Mrs. James Mailers and Mr.

and Mrs. Bob McGuire of Holy Cross are vacationing at north shore cottage. Mr. and Mrs. A.

F. Kenyon and family of Des Moines are at a north shore cottage. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Anderson of Des Moines have been spending their vacation at south shore cottage.

A farewell house party in honor of Miss Mary Ellen Barrett of Mason City 18 being held here at a south shore cottage. Miss Barrett in the Convent of the Sisters of Humility of Mary at Ottumwa Sept. 8th. The girls, graduates of Ottumwa Heights college are Miss Barrett, Bonnie Moore of Corning, Pat Tierney of Lawler, Marilyn Suppel of Iowa City, Barb Benda of Fairfield and Rose Marie Kirschbaum of Garner. Misses Joan Lansing and Bonnie Colwell of Mason City also are with the group.

Mr. and Mrs. Elston Danielson and ramily and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Iverson family, all of Ellsworth, are vacationing here at a south shore cottage.

Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Larson and James Young of Eagle Grove and Miss Helen Heltner of Rockford, are vacationing on the south shore. Mr. and Mrs.

M. J. Snyder and Jackie of Michigan City, and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wright and Danny of Des Moines are on the south shore.

Mrs. I. W. Erickson, Wendell and Kay, and Mrs. BIll Gadbaw and David, al: of Nevada, are cationing on the south shore.
