Board To Convene Here The fall board meeting of the Iowa Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs will be Saturday and Sunday at Hotel Kirkwood. Approximately 200 women from all over Iowa will attend the sessions. Dr. Lydia T. Jordan of Daven- port, president, will preside at the business meetings.

Speaker at Saturday's luncheon will be Henry W. Burma, a member of the state board of control. His talk will deal with mental health. Business sessions and committee reports will take up the major part of the conference. Sage-Blair Vows Taken in Ankeny Carol Sage, daughter of Mr.

and Mrs. Russell E. Sage, and Ronald E. Blair, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Tom Blair, all of Ankeny, were married Friday at the Methodist church in Ankeny. The bride wore a white satin gown with seed pearl trim and a full court train. Polio Victim Is Graduated As a Nurse A young woman who contracted poliomyelitis at the beginning of her senior year in training was graduated from Iowa Lutheran hospital school of nursing Thursday night just a year late.

"I was a brand new senior." said Delores Elaine (Dee) Farquhar, 22. of Leon, recalling the day two years ago when she was en ill. "Mother was here for the week end and I woke up sick in the middle of the night," she added. 6-Month Recovery. That was Nov.

8, 1949. Six months later in May of 1950 Dee was released from Kenny cottage on a convalescent leave and went home. A new $330.000 building for Grace Theological Seminary here was dedicated by officials of the National Fellowship of Brethren Churches.
