John D. Iverson, 62, of 4804 Cedar Cedar Drive, West Des Moines, died of a skin disease Monday at Iowa Meth odist Medical Center. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday Thursday at St. Mark Lutheran Church in West Des Moines, and burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery. Cemetery. Mr. Iverson, retired vice president of Gibbs Cook Construction, was born in Greene and moved to West Des Moines in 1957 from Calmar. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and Iowa State Cyclone Club and had been president of the Valley Junction Merchants Association. Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo; two daughters, Terri Kail of Hanover Hanover Park, 111., and Patrice Scarborough Scarborough of Chicago; his mother, Ina Iverson of Calmar; two sisters, Mary Jo Wilke of Monona and Diane Nord-gaard Nord-gaard Nord-gaard of Palatine, 111.; three brothers, Sam of Grundy Center, Tom of Colorado Colorado Springs, Colo., and Steve of Lake Mills; and a grandchild. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McLaren's Funeral Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the National Scleroderma Foundation.
